Gnome magician

I keep painting these little gnomes all the time. They are so quick to paint and I get to use really bright colors. Bring on the gnomes!

Gnome wizard

I had so much fun painting this little guy. I am seriously thinking of ideas on how to use him as a player character. Tried some OSL from the flame in his hand at first, but didn't quite like it. Very happy with this mini.

After I was finished and took pictures I noticed his staff wasn't as bright as the rest of him. So I went back and added some more highlights to that. See picture at the bottom

Garden gnome

And another one in my gnomes 'series'. This is the garden gnome.

I tried a OSL experiment. It didn't work out the way I wanted, the blue is way overdone. Lessons learned though.

Hope to finally finish the red dragon (Reaper) next.

Gnome child

And here's another gnome. The gnome child is the smallest of the Stonehaven gnomes, so it really was quite a quick paint. I added this... creature thing, don't know what it is. Some sort of big ass rat? Regardless it fills out the base very well.

Next up: Trying to finally finish my red dragon! (again)

Shrouded Gnome

I took a small break from painting the pathfinder red dragon to work on some of the Stonehaven gnomes. Gawd those models are really awesome. I added a candle to add some OSL to the model, which really lifted this little dude up from just a small bit of grey metal to a proper character. Also note his awesome green goggles (he is a gnome after all).

Giant snakes

And here I got four Otherworld giant snakes. Unfortunately the picture is not really doing them justice, they look better in real life. These will be used for the venom cult in Dragon's Delve, and it is generally useful to have snakes.

I am now working on a Pathfinder red dragon, using the core rulesbook cover as the color scheme.

Giant rats

I decided to make a dent in the Bones miniatures from the first Kickstarter. The best way to do that? Paint rats. I have twelve here. I extended their bases with putty, simply because I like round bases instead of the crappy things the models come with.

I painted a few of each color. They are 'quick' paint jobs, but they definitely read as rats to me. :)
