Water weird and crystal

I painted up this Water Weird from Bones 2 and a crystal formation as well. First I applied a matt varnish (spraycan). Then I applied some washes and a few simple drybrushes. Quite simple really. :)

Storm and Tempest

Recently Pathfinder Society announced plans for a Core campaign that only allows basic rules. This meant I got to come up with a additional player character. I thought up Storm, a dwarf druid of Gozreh and her animal companion the black bear Tempest.

As is usual with me I let the gender of the character be determined by the miniature I picked, in this case the Dwarf Druid from Stonehaven miniatures. I selected a bear animal companion from the Bones 2 Kickstarter and I was off.

Added in some scenic bases and this is the result. I kind of like it I have to say.

Roper

And here is a roper! I felt like messing around with how to paint stone. So I grabbed this roper, who is supposed to look like it, and went at it. Lots of washes and blending. I added a bit of red, because otherwise he was just so boring (colorwise).

This is a Bones miniature from Reaper, from their 2nd kickstarter. Unfortunately I cannot link to the site, because it is not buyable in their shop at the time of writing.
